Additional Info: The Journal of Regional Security is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal advancing the study of security and peace from a regional perspective. Published by the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Political Science and the Belgrade Centre for Security Policy, it offers a platform for innovative research and theoretical reflection on regional security in a global context. Founded in 2006 under the title Western Balkans Security Observer, the Journal of Regional Security obtained its current name in 2012. The Journal of Regional Security encourages interdisciplinary and critical approaches to regional security, peace, and conflict studies. It welcomes work exploring how regional actors, institutions, and practices shape, and are shaped by, broader security dynamics. While stemming from scholarship on Southeast Europe, the journal embraces a global outlook and fosters dialogue among academic and policy communities across regions. By promoting comparative and context-sensitive research, the journal aims to generate insights for more inclusive, informed, and sustainable approaches to regional and global security governance.
