In Brill Publishers, Leiden, we have found a worthy successor to Van Gorcum. The publisher in Assen has published Grotiana since its resurgence as New Series in 1981. We want to thank van Gorcum for these more than 25 years of profes- sional and congenial co-operation. With this issue we start the co-operation with the new publisher. It goes with a few changes in format and procedure. We trust that Brill, with an equally important reputation in Grotius publications, will be a good place for the future of Grotiana. Among the new features are the publication on-line of all the issues since 1981, a more attractive subscription rate for individual subscriptions, and a more colourful presentation of the journal itself. Electronic submission options will be added in the near future. With this issue and the 2008-issue that will follow shortly, Grotiana will improve its regularity.
