INTRODUCTION Surrogacy, as a form of assisted reproductive technologies (ART), has become an indispensable method of conception in our modern world. Historically, women were expected to either accept their infertile fate or proceed with adoption.1 Through the significant scientific advances and legalization of commercial surrogacy in select states, women and men are no longer obligated to concede to their infertility.
