The institute of sentence mitigation, which was analyzed in connection with the abovemen- tioned criminal offense, includes two segments of work. Namely, the analysis examined the ratio of the number of reported, indicted, convicted and acquitted persons, that is, persons whose sentences were reduced, and the application of certain mitigating circumstanc- es which the Court took into account when mitigating the sentence was analyzed.
