SERVED DEC2 1987 U.S.-JAPAN SMALL PACKAGE SERVICE PROCEEDING Docket 44016 NOTICE On November 17, 1987, the Department served a Notice stating that a decision in this proceeding had been submitted for section 801 review on November 16, 1987. A copy of the Department's decision was attached to the Notice. The President or his designee under Executive Order 12597 and implementing regulations has decided not to take action on that decision and it will become effective as a final order of the Department on December 1, 1987. It will be identified hereafter as Order 87-12-1 Because of the wide circulation given to the Department's decision when the November 17th Notice of submission to the President or his designee was served, the Department's final decision, referred to above, will not be re-served. A copy has been placed in this docket and may be examined there. Further, copies of the certificates issued by the above order are attached to this Notice to advise parties of the effective dates which have been added to copies attached to our section 801 transmittal notice.
