    and necessity under section 401(d)(1)
    of the Federal Aviation Act of 1958,
    as amended, to engage in scheduled
    interstate, overseas and foreign
    scheduled air transportation



                                    FINAL ORDER

    By Order 85- 4-9 , issued     April 3,     1985, we directed all interested
    persons to show cause why we should not make final our tentative findings
    and conclusions stated in it and award a certificate of public convenience
    and necessity   to Air Mid-America, Inc. authorizing it to engage         in
    scheduled interstate and overseas air transportation of persons, property,
    and mail and dismiss Air Mid-America's application for foreign scheduled
    authority to operate between Columbus, Ohio and points in Canada.
    No objections to Order 85-4-9    have been received.

    ACCORDINGLY:
    1.  We find that Air Mid-America, Inc. is fit, willing, and able to engage
    in scheduled   interstate  and overseas   air transportation   of  persons,
    property,  and  mail   between  all  points   in  the  United  States,   its
    territories, and possessions;

    2.   We issue a certificate of public convenience and necessity to Air
    Mid-America, Inc. to engage in interstate and overseas air transportation
    of persons, property, and mail in the form attached;

    3.     We dismiss Air Mid-America's application for foreign scheduled
    authority to operate between Columbus, Ohio, and points in Canada.

    4.   The authority granted here shall become effective five days after we
    have received from the FAA a copy of the applicant's Air Carrier Operating
