The assessment provided national authorities and experts with an opportunity to evaluate the institutional and operational capacities, decision-making processes, practices and procedures, in line with international and regional obligations, commitments, and standards. National experts identified options and recommendations in a 'roadmap' to comprehensively and sustainably strengthen the national framework governing through-life weapons and ammunition management in The Gambia.
