THE LAWS OF SCOTLAND
PUBLISHERS' NOTICE
With the exception of a Consolidated Index of Subject-
matter, thoroughly cross-referenced, to be issued shortly,
Volume XV completes this publication. A second Supple-
ment, bringing the Law down to 30th June 1933, is in
preparation, and subscribers and other readers are re-
quested to be so good as to send a note of any errors or
omissions which may have come to their notice so that
these may be taken cognisance of in the supplementary
volume referred to.
A parallel and complementary work-The Encyclopwdia
of Scots Forms and Precedents-is in preparation and a
prospectus thereanent will be issued shortly.
The publishers take this opportunity of recording their
thanks to the learned Editors and their assistants and to all
contributors and subscribers for their co-operation in what
may perhaps be described as one of the most ambitious
Scots legal publications yet attempted. They are gratified
to learn, from numerous sources, that the w ork is proving
of great assistance in practice, and while it cannot, of
course, supersede-nor does it profess to do so-the many
excellent text-books on various topics, its function as an
Encycloptedia has been, and is being, completely justified.
