1.-An Act fixing the time at which public acts hereafter passed
shall take effect, and be in force.
It is hereby enacted by the General .ssembly of the State
of Vermont, That all public acts, hereafter enacted by
this or any future Legislature, shall take effect, and be wien public
in force, on, and from the first day of January next acts shall take
after their passing, and not before, unless otherwise effect.
