MARY's, on the tenth day of May, anno Dorn mi 1692,
and in the 4th year of the reign of our Sovereign
Lord and Lady WILLIAM and MARY, by the Grace
of GOD, of England, Scotland, France and Ire-
land, King and Queen, &c. and ended the ninth day
of June following, the act following was made.

An Act for punishment of persons suborning of wit-
nesses, or committing wilful and corrupt peijury.

Wf 1EREAS several persons, void of grace, and the dread
of the Almighty, have, and do still continue, for small Preamble.
profits accruing to themselves, to commit wilful and corrupt
perjury, or cause or procure the same to be committed, either
out of a design for the reasons and purposes aforesaid, or mere-
ly to revenge an imaginary inj ury done them, to the great pre-
judice of divers of their majesties' loyal subjects inhabiting
within this province : And forasmuch as the laws for this prov-
