in the year of our Lord one thoufand feven hundred

An ACT to appoint a truftee to take care of the perfon and property of George
Shipley, fenior,, who is infane. PR.

An ACT to effablith, a market at the market-houfe in Chefter-
town, in Kent county, and for the regulation of the faid market.
1re2aMbl.  W 1  7HEREAS it has been reprefented to this general affernbly, that the
inhabitants of Choftlr-town and others have ereaed, on the fquare
appropriated for a market-place, a convenient market-houfe, and
that if their market was under a proper regulation it might be rendered very
ufeful to them, and the inhabitants of the Laid county and the adjacent county:

the firil day of January, in the year one thoufand feven hu lred and eighty-five,
two days in the week fhall .be fet apart, appointed and held, as market days,
within the town of Chefter aforefaid, to Wit, Wednefday and Saturday; and
that all vituals and provifion whatfoever, brought to the faid town for file after
the aforefaid firft day of January, in the year aforefaid (except fifh and oyffers
that fhall be brought by water, arid beef by the quarter or larger quantity, and
pork by the hog or hogs, all kinds of grain, flour and bread, butter in firkins, or
other veflils exceeding twenty poqnds net, and cheefe, beef and pork in barrels
or larger cafks, live cattle, lheep and hogs, brought either by land or water) upon
thofe or any other lays, flall be carried t, the public market-houfe of the fiid
