CHAPTER I.
An Act in addition to an act cntitlcd An act to establish
the Pond Street Corporation.
.7 BE it enacted by the Senate and Iouse of
epresentatives, in General Court assembled, and by the
mthority of the same, T1hat the said Corporation be, and Width of to
iiereby is authorized to contract said street to the width stt'eet.
of forty-five feet instead of sixty : Provided, the interest Proviso;
of any abutter on said Street shall not be impaired thereby.
[This Act passed June 10, 1808.]
CHAP. I.
An Act in addition to an act entitled An Act in further
addition to an act entitled An Act for incorporating James
Sullivan, esq. and others, by the name and style of The
Proprietors of the Middlesex Canal.
BE it enacted bIl the Senate and 1house of
Representatives, in General Court assembled, and by/ the
authority of the same, That the said Proprietors shall be
allowed the term of three years from the twenty-second
day of June, one thousand eight hundred and eight, to coin-
plete the same Canal to Charles River; and to effectuate
the means of a communication between the said Canal and
the town of Boston, across said Charles River, by boats.
