of Majfachufetts;
Begun and held at Boflon, in the County of Suffolk,
on Wednefday the Twenty-Eighth Day of May
Aino Domini, 1788 ; and from thence continued
by Prorogation and Adjournment, to Wednefday
the Thirty-firat Day of December following.

An A& for fetting off Ifaac Moffitt and others, from
the Town of Charlton, in the County of Worcefler,
and annexing them      to the Town of Oxford, in the
fame County.
E it cmal7cd by the Senate and Houfe of Reprefentatives in GeneralCourt
k-' afenblcd, and by the nuthority of the fame, That Ifaac Moffitt, Elijah
Learned and Ephraim Segars, of Charlton, in the county of Worcejier,
with their polls arid e' ates, be,. and they. hereby are fet off from
the faid town of Chdrlton, and annexed to the town of Oxford, in-the
fame. county, and (hall forever, hereafter be' confidered as belonging
to, and making part of the faid' town of Oxford, there to do duty,
and receive privileges, equal to other inhabitants in faid town.
Provided neverthele/s, That the faid Ifaac Mofftt., Elijah 'Learned and
Ephrainm Segars, iefpe&ively, be held to pay all taxes already affeffed Provifq.
on them, by the laid town of Charlton, in the 1ime manner as,.they
would have been, if this act had not paflkd.
