Be it further enacted, That the following articles be established for the government of the corporation. I. For well ordering the affairs of the corporation Directoi.s. there shall be nine directors who shall be elected annual- ly by the stockholders in general meeting. None but stockholde.rs shall hv eligible as directors, and nct less than two thirds of the directors shall be resident in New- Haven.
