AN ACT to Make an Appropriation to the Arkansas
State Highway & Transportation Department
for the Purchase of Replacement Vehicles for
Human Service, Rural and Urban Public
Transportation Providers; and for Other Pur-
poses.

AN ACT for the Arkansas State Highway & Trans-
portation Department Capital Improvement
Appropriation.
Be It Enacted by the General Assembly of the State
of Arkansas:
SECTION 1. APPROPRIATIONS. There is
hereby appropriated, to the Arkansas State High-
way & Transportation Department, to be payable
from the General Improvement Fund or its succes-
sor fund or fund accounts, the following:
(A) For the purchase of replacement vehicles
for human service, rural and urban public trans-
portation providers serving the transportation-
dependent and to meet requirements of the Ameri-
cans with Disabilities Act, the sum of ..........
............................... $3,412,000.
SECTION 2. The Arkansas State Highway &
Transportation Department shall be exempt from
the provisions of Arkansas Code 19-4-525 for the
purposes of this Act.
