Attached is my first annual report, submitted to meet the mandated deadline. However, please note that the data is currently incom- plete. A revised and comprehensive report will be submitted at a later date. Since my appointment in March, I have been working diligently to assess the sta- tus of 2024 and 2025 matters: evaluating what has been reviewed, processed, or inadvertently omitted. I have completed a review of all 2024 complaint files and uploaded 88 Advisory Opinions. I am now turning my attention to the 2024 infor- mal opinion requests. While the office was understaffed since February 2024, I am on-boarding staff to improve our responsiveness and restore full operations. With additional support, I am confident we will make substantial progress in addressing the 2025 backlog and reach a sustainable pace by the calendar year's end. This will also allow us to expand educational efforts and proactive transparency initiatives. A revised report covering July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025, will be submitted as soon as practical after the staffing additions are in place. I am honored to serve in this role and look forward to working with you.
