The Department of the Attorney General is comprised of almost two-dozen divisions.
Each division has contributed to this report.
SECTION 2: DEPARTMENT GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
The Department of the Attorney General
The mission of the Department of the Attorney General is to provide excellent legal
services to the State of Hawaii by offering advice and counsel to its client agencies,
assisting in implementing policy decisions, aiding the core activities of its client agencies,
and representing the State and its clients in litigation.
