X TO ALL STATE AND COUNTY OFFICERS OF ALABAMA: In accordance with an Act of the Legislature of Alabama found on page 1114 of the General Acts of Alabama, Regular Session, 1935, I am submitting to you the Quarterly Report of the Opinions of the Attorney General of Alabama. This re- port covers all opinions rendered by the Attorney General from January 1, 1938 through March 1, 1938. The Act referred to above requires that six copies of this Quarterly Report be sent to each of the Probate Judges in the State and the Probate Judge shall in turn deliver one vol- ume each to the Clerk of the Circuit Court, the Sheriff, the Tax Collector, the Tax Assessor, and the County Superin- tendent of Education. The Office of the Attorney General is anxious to render prompt and efficient service to the State and county officials.
