Engraving and Printing without regard to the civil service rul7
This order is issued on the recommendation of the Acting Secretary of the
Treasury, who states that Mrs. Purcell served in the Bureau of Engraving and
Printing under the Executive Order of January 15, 1918, from November 3,1919,
to October 7, 1921, -and that her husband, Richard A. Purcell, was appointed in
the Bureau of Engraving and Printing on May 15, 1917, and served until.Jaduary
1, 1925, except for a time when he was in the World War, becoming incapacitated
on the last named date by reason of disease incurred in the war.

without authority to recommend its issuance.
