THE WBA INITIATIVE ON WOMEN IS HERE! -- January  6, 2006!!!

At the 2005 Annual Dinner, President Karen M. Lockwood  announced the framework of the
groundbreaking Initiative on Advancement and Retention  of Women. In this months Raising
The Bar, her President's column addresses why this  Initiative is important.

Now, the attached summary of the first and  subsequent programs calls for you to reserve
your seat.

PLEASE ATTEND! The first session is on Friday,  January 6, 2006, at 9 am.  It is well worth
your time that morning -- some of the nation's  leading experts on the research into signs
and root causes of the .issues in advancement of women will giving the presentations, in a
concentrated morning of challenging and thought-provoking  sessions.

Sessions two through four are in the planning  stages, and their themes are outlined in the
attachment.

Admission charges are as follows:

Individual sessions including lunch):$75  (WBA members $50)
Four session-package(including lunches):$270  (WBA members $180)
