              COMMITTEE AND FORUM CO-CHAIR MEETING
                                April 4, 2002

                                MINUTES

The meeting was called to order by the President at 12:40 p.m. In attendance were
Deborah  Israel (President), Marjorie Burnett (Treasurer-elect), Jennifer Duane
(Secretary), Susan Kimmel (Communications Law Forum), Sheryl Flum (Government
Attorneys Forum), Celine Callahan (Working  Parents Forum), Susan  Kovarovics
(International Law Forum), Sarah Nappi (International Law Forum), Angela Fisher
(Speakers Bureau), Lisa Dunner (Intellectual Property Law Forum), Paulette Chapman
(Litigation Forum), Dorothy Lin (Lawyers at Home   Forum), Ilene Price (Public
Relations/Media), Christy  Prame  (Litigation Forum/Executive  Endorsements),
Gracemarie Maddalena  (Career Development Committee), Yahn  Miorini (Working
Parents Forum), Caroline Petro (WBAF   President), Kimberly Knight (Executive
Director) and Sandy Quimbaya (Administrative Assistant).

I. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - The Minutes from the March 5, 2002 Committee and
Forum Co-chair Meeting were approved as amended.

II. PRESIDENT'S   REPORT   (Deborah Israel)

*  WBA   Elections - The WBA   Nominations  Committee will be posting its 2002
   election slate by Friday, April 5. Any co-chairs that are interested in running for a
   position as a WBA officer or Board member should let Deb, Mary Kate or Ellen
   know immediately.

*  Annual  Dinner - Debbie announced that Nancy Pelosi, the Minority Whip of the
   U.S. House of Representatives, would be the special honored guest at the Annual
   Dinner. Paula Dobriansky, the Under Secretary of State for Global Affairs at the
   State Department, will be the Annual Dinner's Keynote Speaker. Carolyn Lamm, a
   partner at White & Case, will receive the 2002 WBA Woman Lawyer of the Year
   Award.

   *  The law firm sponsorship solicitation list has been compiled and letters to law
      firms seeking their sponsorships of the Annual Dinner will be mailed out by
      Friday, April 5. Co-chairs that may have contacts at any of the law firms on the
      list should let Deb or the Annual Dinner co-chairs, Nancy Long and Sharon
      Goley, know.

   *  One of Deb's goals for this year's Annual Dinner is to increase the attendance of
      the general WBA membership at the dinner. Therefore, extra seats will be offered
