   A. WBA Fall Kickoff - Deb confirmed that, in light of the feedback she received
from the WBA leadership, we would go forward with the WBA Fall Kickoff as
scheduled despite the recent terrorist attacks. A segment of the WBA Fall Kickoff
will be devoted to honoring the DC lawyers that lost their lives in the terrorist
attacks, specifically, Karen Kincaid, Barbara Olson, Lisa Raines and Todd
Reuben. Mia Hamm is confirmed to attend. Wilma Lewis is scheduled to speak
about the importance of bar membership. So far, sixty people have confirmed
their attendance. Co-chairs were asked to send an email about the Fall Kickoff to
their colleagues in their firms or agencies and encourage their attendance. The
Fall Kickoff is set to start at 6:00, but Deb encouraged the co-chairs to arrive early
to set up information about their respective committees and fora at the tables.
