We look forward to seeing many of you back in the office next month as Emory Law resumes classes. Feel free to stop by the Program Coordinator's office (G500) on the fifth floor to introduce yourself or to share ideas and questions about how you can engage with our ongoing projects. Read below for information about our summer workshop, recent publications, incoming visiting scholars, ongoing Oral History Project, and some personnel changes. Last month, we were pleased to host a very productive workshop with the University of Witswatersrand at Emory, attended by colleagues from University of Kwazulu-Natal, Wits University, and University of Tulsa. Collaborators from the UK and Canada participated via Zoom. The project will continue into the semester, and we plan to compile and publish the results of our research. Two participants have already published pieces based on their presentations - see below. After the workshop, Dr. Ting Xu (Professor of Law, Essex University) published a piece drawing on vulnerability theory and highlighting the intersection between public and private law on the UK Constitutional Law Association Blog.
