providing greater discretion to the Supreme Court
in selecting the cases it will review, as
introduced by Mr. Heflin and referred to the Senate
Judiciary Committee, 100th Congress, April 8, 1987.
S. 952 as reported (Senate Report No. 100-300) with
amendments, March 16, 1988. (See Volume 1, Item 2
of this Legislative History for the language of
this bill).
12) S. 952 as passed the Senate, received in the House
and referred to the House Judiciary Committee,
March 22, 1988. Subsequently reported (House
Report No. 100-660) without amendment and ordered
to be printed, May 26, 1988.
13) S. Con. Res. 123, a concurrent resolution
authorizing changes in the enrollment of S. 952, as
submitted by Mr. Byrd, considered in the Senate and
agreed to, 100th Congress, June 7, 1988.
