AN ACT
To amend the Clean Air Act to provide for attainment and
maintenance of health protective national ambient air qual-
ity standards, and for other purposes.
Strike out all after the enacting clause and insert:
1 SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE, REFERENCE, AND TABLE OF CON-
2 TENTS.
3 (a) SHORT TITLE.- This Act may be cited as the
4 Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990.
5 (b) REFERENCE.- Whenever in this Act an amend-
6 ment or repeal is expressed in terms of an amendment to, or
7 repeal of, a section or other provision, the reference shall be
8 considered to be made to a section or other provision of the
9 Clean Air Act.
