The new United States Attorneys Bulletin should serve this purpose admirably. The Bulletin will contain summaries of important court decisions, information on changes in policies and procedures, suggestions for the improvement of operating efficiency, and similar material. In this way, closer touch will be maintained between the Department in Washington and you in the field, and you will be kept informed not only of what is being done within the De- partment but of recent developments in the various United States Attorneys offices throughout the country. It is our hope that you will look on the Bulletin as your own publication, designed for your information and assistance, and that your continued interest in it will be reflected in suggestions and recommendations for its improvement.
