For more than halfa century, this has remained the core mission of the Robbins Collection as it has grown and evolved. Over the past five decades, Mr. Robbins's initial donation of 1,974 books from his personal collection and a fund for ongoing development has become a special collection whose holdings include over 340,000 rare and modern titles in religious and civil law, and an international center for comparative legal and historical studies.
