Barsanti, Jr. was presented the gavel by Past- President John M. Goodwin. In accepting the gavel President Barsanti pledged to uphold the standards of the Association and to work for a continued strong organization. Since the installation, the Executive Commit- tee has met regularly and have appointed many of the committees. The appointments to these committees are being mailed regularly. Plans for some of the functions and meetings for the year have been formulated and will be announ- ced at a later date. HAROLD S. C0K HONORED b¼ At the Installation Dinner held on June 1, 1966, the Association honored Harold S. Cook for his twelve years of service as an elected officer of the Executive C om- mittee. He was presented with an award of merit signed by the eleven living past- presidents of the thirteen under which he served. Harold served as Secretary for the past eight consecutive years and prior to that, two years as an elected member of the Executive Committee and two years as vice-president. Shown in the photos is Herbert E. Barnard who served as Chairman of the, past-presidents, presenting the award and an enscribed onyx desk pen set to Harold S. Cook.. Seven of the past-presidents attended and shared in the tribute and can be seen in the background of the photos. From left to right are George S. Roudebush, Wayne B. Wright, F. Wm. McCalpin, John M. Goodwin, John H. Lashly, and Richard E. Shewmaker.
