Patent and Antitrust to Hold Luncheon Meeting The Patent Section and the Anti- trust Committee will have a joint luncheon meeting on Tuesday, November 15, 1977, at 12:00 Noon in the Black- stone Room at the Downtown Headquart- ers. The subject of the meeting will be the recent Supreme Court decision in Continental T.V., vs. GTE Sylvan- iz, regarding territorial restraints. The speakers will be: Robert J. Criminal Law Seminar to Study Federal Courts Procedure The Criminal Law Section in conjunction with the Young Lawyers' Section will sponsor a seminar on Defense of a Criminal Case in the Federal Courts from 9 A.M. to 5 P.M. Find Out cIMvle Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Hearsay But Were Afraid to Ask is the Topic of the Trial Law Section's Continuing Legal Education Audio Visual Program. For greater convenience, this popular program has been expanded to the Clay- ton Headquarters, which will offer the program Thursday, November 10 at 3:30 P.M., in addition to the Downtown Headquarters showing, which will be Tuesday, November 8. The Downtown Headquarters will continue with the previous format which of- fers the program and a buffet at 11:45 A.M. ($5.50) or the program only at 3:30 P.M. ($3). The cassette videotape program presentation on a 25 TV monitor will fea- ture Professor Irving Younger of Cornell University, a nationally recognized authority in the field of hearsay. The tapes were prepared by the ABA Section of Litigation. Due to the restricted seating capabilities of the TV screen presentation and the popularity of this series, space is limited so make your reservation early. The next program in the series, to be shown Tuesday, November 22, will be two videotapes on Final Argument in a Personal Injury Case and Direct and Cross-Examination of Key Witness in a Criminal Case. The first tape is a 30 minute final argument in the case of Potter vs. Sul- livan and Schrackle Construction Co. The second is a 57 minute tape from the case of United States vs. Peters.
