SOUTERN DISTRICT OF IT. YORK

Volume I. March 21, 1925. No.
U!ell, here is the first edition of the office
journal, which sprang into being at the direction of our
new Chief, Emory R. Buckner.
Its mission will be to link the divisions of the
office into close relationship, to create a medium
for the expression of opinion, for the presentation of
constructive suggestions, for the interchange of ideas,
and for the dissemination of information which is
essential to effective prosecution of the work of the
office, and to engender a spirit of cooperation among
the members of the staff, a sort of family pride, which
will spur us on to labor unselfishly, under the able, dynamic
and courageous leadership of our Chief, to reach the heights
of real achievement in the service of our Country.
It may not be written that we all shall reach the
goal of our ambition, but we may at least enjoy the satis-
faction of having conscientiously devoted our talents and
our time to the fulfilment of the trust reposed in us by our
Government.
