First is a detailed review by John Barkett, a long- time commentator on the Roberts Court, of the Supreme Court's decisions during the last term relating to health law and legal medicine. Next is Dr. Ashley Eltorai's article, which provides an analysis and commentary on the medical malpractice risks associ- ated with sedation services provided by non-anesthesiologists. Dr. Jacob Appel then offers a thoughtful patient-centered proposal for reforming decisional capacity assess- ments in the clinical setting. Finally, elaborating on her 2022 presentation at the ACLM conference, Dr. Sandra Johnson shares her insights about the regulatory land- scape of artificial intelligence in healthcare.
