The Journal of Correctional Education is the official publica-
tion of the Correctional Education Association. The Journal
is published three times annually in January, May and
September.  All advertising in The Journal is used to defray
publication and distribution costs.

      The Correctional Education Association, or CEA, is affili-
ated with the American Correctional Association as an inter-
national professional organization serving the educational
program  needs within the field of corrections. Through the
Association's publications, workshops, and the annual intema-
tional Conference, CEA strives to broaden the professional
horizons and equip each member with the support to provide
relevant educational programs which focus upon life survival
skills for the adult or juvenile offender. The organization wish-
es to apprise its members as well as all of corrections to the
great importance or interaction between the disciplines and
services within the institutions and agencies, in an attempt to
improve the delivery of total treatment services.
      The Journal of Correctional Education is published
three times annually for the Correctional Education Assoc-
