El trabajo tiene como objetivo examinar, a traves de la investigaci6n documental, el reconocimiento, por parte de un 6rgano principal y aut6nomo de la OEA, es decir, la CIDH, la importancia de establecer parametros de desempeno en materia de DDHH y Empresas. Destacando, asi, innovaciones traidas por el Informe en la discusi6n de la materia, asi como la posibilidad de aplicar estas innovaciones al proyecto del Tratado Internacional de Derechos Humanos y Empresas. Para esto, sera desarrollado un panorama acerca del contexto del surgimiento del documento y su contenido, asi como apuntes para los posibles aportes de estos estandares a los Estados y empresas. Las principales conclusiones son que el Informe de REDESCA trae varios avances como la importancia de se establecer obligaciones directas a Las empresas transnacionales y medidas de responsabilizaci6n extraterritoriales. Abstract This article aims to analyze the Report issued by the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) on inter-American standards on Business and Human Rights, which was prepared by the Office of the Special Rapporteur on Economic, Social, Cultural and Environmental Rights (REDESCA).
