Themes for the 1994 contests are New Approaches in Child Custody Evaluations, Settlement Techniques for Judges, or Protection of Adverse Interests. Priority for the awards will be given to articles dealing with the contest themes. However, the reviewing boards may make the award to superior articles dealing with any relevant family law issue. Meyer Elkin Essay Contest The 6th annual Meyer Elkin Essay Award will be presented at AFCC's annual meeting in Maui, May 1994. The winner will receive a $250 cash prize and award certificate. The winning article will be published in the Family and Conciliation Courts Review. Articles may address any of the themes listed above. Articles must be received by March 15, 1994.
