Klaus Thoma was a driving force behind the establishment of the European Journal for Security Research in 2015 and, as a founding member of its editorial board, a stark advocate for the Journal's multi- disciplinary approach to security research. His expert advice, wealth of academic knowledge, and unrelenting support will be sorely missed.
