NEW OFFICERS ELECTED At the Annual Meeting of The Chicago Association of Law Libraries held at the John Marshall Law School on Friday, May 22, 1953, the following were elected officers for the year 1953-1954: President, Miss Jean Ashman Vice-President, Reverend Redmond A. Burke, C.S.V., Ph.D. Secretary-Treasurer, Miss Dorottiy Scarborough Executive Committee, Mrs. Grace French and Mr. William D. Murphy. NEW COMMITTEES APPOINTED Miss Jean Ashman, President of The Chicago Association of Law Libraries, has appointed the following members to serve on Committees for the year 1953-1954; Program: Virginia Dunlap, Chairman; Kurt Schwerin, and Catherine M. Ducey. Membership: Elaine Teigler, Chairman; Ruth Niedlander, and Mary Ballantine. Workshop: William R. Roalfe, Chairman; Elizabeth V. Benyon, and Frank Di Canio. Publications: Robert Kelly, Chairman; William D. Murphy, and Francis J. Rooney. SECOND LAW LIBRARY WORKSHOP SCHEDULED The Second Workshop of The Chicago Association of Law Li- braries will take place at the University of Chicago, in the Ida Noyes Hall, 1212 East 59th Street, on Friday and Saturday, Octo- ber 23rd and 24th, 1953* One of the many interesting features planned for the Workshop is a tour of the Midwest Inter-Library enter.
