As a result of this change, a transitional period occurred which accounted for the hiatus in the publication of Behavioral Sciences & the Law. We are very pleased with our new publisher, John Wiley & Sons, which has an excellent reputation in publishing specialized professional journals. We are work- ing closely with Wiley and expect to be on schedule within the next six months. With this issue, readers will also note the discontinuation of the Recent Re- search Bibliography section. After consultation with the Editorial Board and our new publishers at Wiley, we have concluded that this section has not been suffi- ciently comprehensive to warrant its continuation. With the decision to discontinue this section, additional emphasis will be placed on the quality of the thematic pa- pers and research manuscripts to be published. James L. Cavanaugh.
