Julia Schimpfhuber*, Wien Abstract: Der EuGH nahm mit den jeweils in Grop.er Kammer am 18.Juni 2024 ergangenen Entscheidungen in der Rs A./Generalstaatsanwaltschaft Hamm und der Rs QR/Bundesrepub- lik Deutschland erstmals zu Fragen betreffend die Wirkung von mitgliedstaatlichen Asylent- scheidungen Stellung. Der vorliegende Beitrag dient einerseits der Besprechung dieser Ent- scheidungen und geht andererseits der Frage nach, ob, und wenn ja, welche Auswirkungen die Entscheidungen des EuGH auf das GEAS haben werden. With the decisions issued in the Grand Chamber on June 18, 2024 in the cases A./General- staatsanwaltschaft Hamm and QR/Bundesrepublik Deutschland, the CJEU commentedfor the first time on questions concerning the effect of asylum decisions by the member states. On the one hand, this article serves as a discussion of the decisions and, on the other hand, ex- amines the question of whether and, if so, what effects the CJEU's decisions will have on the CEAS.
