Documents included in our audit samples were selected by using generally accepted statistical methods. In our letter report dated December 20, 1968, we advised you that our findings in the audit of vouchers for the period April 1, 1967 through March 31, 1968 disclosed two travel voucher errors. One of the objectives of our reporting is to enable you to judge the performance of personnel who are responsible for the qual- ity of disbursements at your station. Since our audit included pay- ments from January 1 through September 30, 1969, our findings may not be indicative of current operations. Sincerely yours, S. D.
