This error was found in a statistical sample of 248 regularly closed military pay records. This audit through September 30, 1969 may not be indicative of current operations but does show an improvement compared to 25 errors of various types reported for the period April 1, 1967 through March 31, 1968 by letter dated December 19, 1968.
