Agricultural Efficiency And Equity Act Of 1 985

The proposed Agricultural Efficiency and
Equity Act of 1985 would change the man-
ner in which the Department of Agriculture
determines the amount of acreage and
yields assigned to producers of wheat, feed
grains, cotton, and rice under various farm
programs. This report responds to questions
raised by several Congressmen on the poten-
tial impact of the bill had it been in effect for
prior years' programs.
