Air Force Uses Inaccurate Production

Leadtime To Compute Spare Parts Requirements

The Air Force needs to improve its proce-
dures and controls to insure that appropriate
production leadhimes are uedc in determin-
ing requirements for spare parts. The Air
Force also needs to work more closely with
contractors and1 Government rersntatives
at. contractor plants to stay abreast of
changing conditions that affect these
ladtimes.
