General Accounting Office U.S. Preparations For An International Conference On Broadcast Satellites Currently, the Federal Communications Commission, the National Telecommunica- tions Information Administration, the State Department, and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration are preparing for the 1983 Regional Administrative Radio Conference on broadcasting satellite service. The international Conference will plan for the Western Hemisphere nations' imple- mentation of broadcast satellite service. This is a status report on the preparatory activities of the principal Federal agencies responsible for representing the United States at the Conference.
