We found the Statement to be adequate and in conformity in all material respects with our prescribed principles and standards. The approved principles and standards apply to all of the agency's accounting operations. Should it appear necessary to supplement or depart from the approved principles and standards, planned changes should be dis- cussed with our representatives and, if deemed significant, be submitted formally for approval. We commend you and your staff for the progress achieved and for the planned improvement of the agency's accounting system. Our representative will continue to be available for consultation during preparation of the accounting system design.
