Bellefonte Nuclear Plant

Tennessee Valley Authority

The Bellefonte Nuclear Plant is being con-
structed by the Tennessee Valley Authority
for the purpose of generating electricity. It is
TVA's fourth nuclear plant and is situated
near Scottsboro, Alabama.

This study is part of GAO's effort to provide
the Congress with information on the cost,
schedule, and performance of major acqui-
sition programs.
