PURPOSE OF THE LEGISLATION The purpose of H.R. 2876 is to confirm the use of certain non- Federal land in Salt Lake City, Utah, for public purposes, and for other purposes. BACKGROUND AND NEED FOR LEGISLATION H.R. 2876 would address an issue related to the federal govern- ment's reversionary interest in approximately 593 acres of non-fed- eral land owned by the University of Utah.
