AND PARENTING WOMEN AND FAMILIES ACT

1 SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
2 This Act may be cited as the Supporting Pregnant
3 and Parenting Women and Families Act.
4 SEC. 2. PROHIBITION ON DISCRIMINATION AGAINST PREG-
5 NANCY CENTERS.
6 Section 404 of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C.
7 604) is amended by adding at the end the following:
8 (1) USE OF FUNDS FOR PREGNANCY CENTERS.-
9 (1) IN GENERAL.-Nothing in this part shall
10 be construed to prohibit a State from using a grant
11 made under section 403 to support pregnancy cen-
12 ters.
13 (2) DEFINITION OF PREGNANCY CENTER.-In
14 paragraph (1), the term 'pregnancy center' means
15 any organization, such as a pregnancy resource cen-
16 ter, pregnancy help center or organization, or preg-
17 nancy medical center, that-
