And the Indians that are in Amity with us, that tb:y be Reflrayned their ufual Corn- mnerce with the Englifb, and bunting in the Woods, during the time of Hofility with ebofe that are our Enemier; Do Order, that all thofe Indians that are defirous to Approvc themfelvcs Faithfulf to tht: Englifh, be confined to their feveral Plantations under written, untill the Council (hail takefurther Order; and that they fo order the retting of their Wigwams that they may Band Compaa in fome one part of their Plantations refpetively, where it may be beft for their own Provsfion and Defence and that none of them do p efume to Travaile above one mile from the Center of fuch thein dwellings, unlefs in Company of fome Englifh, or in tbeir Service near their dwellings, and ear cepting for gathering and fetching in their Corn with one Englifh man, on peril of being taken as our enemies, or their Abettours: And in cafe that any of them (hall be taken without the Li- mits aboveraid, except as above(aid, and do foofe their Lives or be otherwife damnified; by Eng- Wh or Indians: The CO VCIL do hereby Declare tha t they !hall account themfelves wholly inno. cent, and their Blood or other dammge (by them fuiteined) will be upon their own heads.
