handle is hein.barjournals/socarbn0025 and id is 1 raw text is: Bar launches members-only mobile website THE SOUTH CAROLINA BAR CONTINUES TO RECOGNIZE THE ROLE OF TECHNOLOGY in the way members practice and network, and as a result, is using technology to deliver many aspects of Bar service. In September, the Bar launched Mobile Member, which provides convenient access of key Bar website tools on mobile devices. Mobile Member is not a full version of the Bar's website, but allows members to search the member directory; view a list of upcoming CLE programs and publi- cations for purchase; view and pay outstanding invoices; and update personal data on file with the Bar. Mobile Member also provides details regarding programs for which the user is registered. For instance, if a member is registered for the 201 3 S.C. Bar Convention, Mobile Member will display: * the complete schedule of events; * specific events for which the user is signed up; * reminders prior to when those programs start; * a roster of others attending the programs; local restaurants; local weather; and the Bar's Twitter feed, for new information about the event. Mobile Member is accessible to all Bar members, simply by enter- ing the username and password. Just log on to www.scbar.org/mobile from your mobile device to get started!
