Our first objective is the unstinted devotion of our association to the suc-, cessful prosecution of the war. To this end a War Activities Committee has been established. Its program is vigorous and comprehensive and its activities will quickly expand. Your aid is essential to its success and the officers of this asso- ciation know you will greet with enthusiasm the jpM,1! this committee will place before you. Our next objective is to do our part in the preservain ooT th; institutions we cherish as American lawyers. The standards of our profession must be kept high and we must demonstrate to the public that their confidence in our courts is well placed.
